Grab a sled and race down the Alpine Slide, controlling your speed through straight-aways and around banked curves. An amazingly fun experience unlike anything else you`ve ever done, the Alpine Slide is fun for all ages, from 1 to 101.

Zip Line Tours

Zip Line Tours

Soar above the trees on Montana’s longest zip line tour. Choose a five- or seven- zip line tour for an exhilarating experience with views that are best described as “Inspiration” – the name of the third zip line in the tour.

Seven separate spans with side-by-side zipping action up to 300 feet off the ground. The longest lines spans 1900ft over a valley floor. Tours include a chairlift ride and moderate walking.

Spider Monkey Mountain

Spider Monkey Mountain

Spider Monkey Mountain allows children to challenge themselves as they find their own way up through and out of a webbed tower. Kids 4 and up can climb through 4 webbed-floors and upon reaching the summit can either slide down the giant slide or climb back down through the webbing. Spider Monkey Mountain uses all aspects of the body`s skills. It develops their psycho-motor and balancing skills as they stretch their kid-muscles and tap into that unlimited kid energy, and most of all it`s just good FUN!

Scenic Lift Rides

Scenic Lift Rides

The scenic lift rides at Whitefish Mountain Resort during the summer are a great way to get outdoors and enjoy Mother Nature. The approximately 15 minute ride to the summit offers a chance to cool off, enjoy the scenery and have a yummy lunch at Montana`s only mountaintop restaurant.

Aerial Adventure Park

Aerial Adventure Park

An obstacle course in the trees this adventurous activity is fun for everyone age 7 and up. Five different courses of varying difficulties yellow (easiest), green (easy), blue (challenging), and black (difficult).

Traverse from tree to tree via suspended bridges and cable walk ways, climb on nets and ladders, swing on trapezes and tube traverses, and negotiate other fun elements like zip lines, barrels, and the like. The park is built to meet the standards of the Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT).

Hiking

Hiking "Danny On Trail"

Leaving directly from Whitefish Mountain Resort Village is the popular hiking experience of the Danny On Trail, which meanders up the slopes of Big Mountain through blooming wildflowers to the 6,817ft summit, passing through forests and fields. Epic vistas look out over the valley and the mountains from various points along the trail. There are four different loops and routes on the trail with the longest route being 5.6 miles from base to summit. The most direct route is 3.8 miles.
