One of the finest units at Ptarmigan Village in beautiful Whitefish Montana. Ptarmigan Village is a quiet community, nestled in a cedar forest, on the slope of The Big Mountain. This unit is near one of Montana’s finest ski resorts. Whitefish Resort links you to 3000 acres (98 trails) where you can enjoy some world-class skiing. The resort is well known for a pleasant variety of runs, short waits in line, and for its consistently good snow conditions, on average 300 inches a year!  Praised in National Ski magazine as the #3 place to ski in the country!

When the snow melts, Whitefish Mountain Resort becomes home to thrilling zip lines and an alpine slide, world-class downhill, and cross-country mountain biking, and the unique Walk in the Treetops. In addition, you have easy access to spectacular hiking, golfing, water sports, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, and Glacier National Park! The West Entrance of Glacier National Park is about an hour away! This home is the perfect base camp for a summer visit to Montana’s majestic Flathead Valley. Whitefish is your four-season destination place!

This home is just a 15-minute drive away from historic Downtown Whitefish. If you enjoy shopping, this is the place for you! There are many Clothing, Souvenir and Antique shops for you to enjoy.  Take pleasure in some of the finest restaurants, bars, breweries, and distilleries that the Flathead Valley has to offer! There are fun events including music, theatre, and festivals year-round! City Beach at Whitefish Lake is also only 15 minutes away! If you are traveling during the Winter season, we highly recommend having a 4x4 or AWD vehicle as weather conditions can be unpredictable

And then there's your unit...

The Villiage House is 2332 square feet of living space packed with all the comforts of home. The floor plan is open and inviting.  You'll love the great room on the main level of the home! Relax in the cozy living room with its leather sofas, wood stove, and a large flat-screen TV. The newly remodeled kitchen features stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite counters. It's stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils you need! Share a meal with your group at the large dining table, it seats 8 and you gave space for 3 more at the bar!

There are 4 bedrooms in the house with another room that is used as a 5th bedroom that has no closet. Bedroom #1 has a King-size bed. Bedroom #2 is the bunk room that has one bunk bed with twin-size beds and two additional twin size beds. Connected to that bedroom is the room without a closet which has a full-size futon bed. Bedroom #3 has a Queen-size bed and Bedroom #4 has a Full-size bed. All the bedrooms have luxurious linens. There are 4 bathrooms in the home! The home has a large south-facing deck with a BBQ Grille and an outdoor hot tub that are perfect for entertaining.

Ptarmigan Village offers many amenities that you and your other guests will get to enjoy. They have a new pool building that includes an indoor saltwater swimming pool, a large outdoor hot tub, and a dry sauna. Next to the pool building is a playground for children.

In summer, their outdoor pool is perfect for relaxing or you can take a drive down to our beach on Whitefish Lake where you can take a swim and revel in a gorgeous sunset. Hiking is right out your door with 52 acres to roam. They have two newly resurfaced tennis courts if you want to get in a game. Elmer's Pond is stocked with trout each spring for children to try their luck. You owe it to yourself to stay in this lovely Ptarmigan Village Home.


Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!
